Requirment to formalise uniform for priesthood and monasticism

The Holy Synod approved the following:

No law has yet been issued regarding the uniform of priesthood in its various ranks and for monasticism. This threatens the Church’s reputation through the deposed, the excluded, the psychopaths, and Max Michelle and his followers who use the Coptic Orthodox uniforms without proper reason. Therefore, the Faith, Education, and Legislative Committee recommends the necessity of expediting the issuance of official cards issued by the Patriarchate, Archdiocese and Monasteries, based on approved forms, then stamped with the Patriarchate with a serial number. It shall be covered and equipped with modern technological methods, provided that it is effective for specific periods to be renewed. The Faith, Education and Legislative Committee also recommended that it is necessary to withdraw the card from a priest submitted for investigation in the General Clerical Council and sub-committee until he is found innocent. But if he is suspended, the card remains with the Clerical Council until the end of the sentence. As for those who are stripped of priesthood, the card will be withdrawn from them permanently.
