When names of departed are to be mentioned
The Holy Synod agreed to the request and recommendations of the Diocesans Affairs Committee as follows:
The importance of mentioning the names of the departed audibly in the Prayer for the Departed in the Liturgy on the Third Day, Fortieth Day, and Annual remembrances. If there is time, the rest of the names can be mentioned, otherwise they are mentioned inaudibly.
