System of working of Holy Synod Committees

Regarding the committees of the Holy Synod and the importance of them undertaking their various activities, the following was decided:

1. Appointment of a Chairman for each committee of the Holy Synod committees.
2. Setting fixed schedule [timings] for the meetings of these committees.
3. Setting out Terms of Reference for each committee.
4. Identifying the relationships of the committees to the Holy Synod Secretariat and His Holiness the Pope.
5. Preparing regular reports for each committee to present to His Holiness the Pope and the Holy Synod.
6. Identifying the needs of each committee and the Church’s needs from each committee.
