Preparation of pledge for monks
Regarding the proposed pledge that a monk should recite upon his ordination, His Holiness stated that the aim of it is the commitment of the monks to the monastic life and principles, to walk in the proper monastic life, which is beneficial to their lives, and protects them from behavioral or ideological deviations. His Holiness has requested the members’ observations on the text of the pledge.
