Amendments of Decree of 21/06/1986 regarding authority over monks
- The Synod decided to add the phrase, “with the acceptance of the bishop of the diocese in which this monk prays” to item no.3 in the Synod's decrees at the meeting on 21/06/1986 regarding monks, which states, “it is not permissible for a church to allow a strange monk to perform the service of the Liturgy, or to raise incense in it, or to perform any sacramental service, unless it is certain of the validity of his priesthood, and has a letter from the Bishop declaring this to him.”
- It was also decided to replace the word "strange monk" with the word "monk" and that in item no.4 with the Synod’s decrees at the meeting on 21/06/1986 regarding monks, on not allowing monks to lodge at families’ homes."
